HKBN Enterprise Solutions Collaborates with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Sunglowsec to Build AI-Powered Vulnerability Scanning and Validation Platform,
Empowering Enterprises with Smart Security and Efficient Management
(Hong Kong – 30 June 2026) HKBN Enterprise Solutions (HKBNES) today announced a collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Sunglowsec Infotech (Hong Kong) Co., Limited (Sunglowsec) to jointly develop an AI-Powered Vulnerability Scanning and Validation Platform (AI-VSVP). The platform is intended to provide smart monitoring and automated defence capabilities for enterprise customers in Hong Kong and beyond. At the same time, Sunglowsec officially joined the HKBN InnoTech Ecosystem Alliance (iTEA), further strengthening the collaborative drive to capture opportunities in the cybersecurity market.
Combining Academic and Industry Strengths for Smart Security Deployment
The collaboration is intended to leverage the respective core strengths of all three parties: HKBNES, with its extensive market experience and broad customer network, will lead the platform's marketing and commercialisation; Shanghai Jiao Tong University will provide cutting-edge research guidance and technical support to facilitate a seamless transition from academic research to industrial application; and Sunglowsec, with its deep focus on vulnerability scanning and validation technologies, will oversee the platform's technical development and delivery.
The AI-VSVP platform is designed for a wide range of scenarios, covering enterprise networks, application systems, and endpoint devices. Its intended core capabilities include vulnerability scanning, precise risk identification, prioritised and categorised remediation recommendations, statistical analysis of vulnerability data, and compliance reporting. The platform aims to help enterprises transition from reactive defence to proactive security management, enhancing overall cybersecurity resilience.
